"Pioneers and Pilgrims" by Delbert Plett pub. by DFP Publications, Box 1960, Steinbach,Manitoba, Canada, R0G 1W0,in 1990 refers extensively to the family of Gerhardt Schellenberg 1725-1802 and many descendants in North America. Prior to Russia the family lived in East Prussia and perhaps originated in Switzerland. Emigrations were result of religious differences.I assume this is another branch of Shellenberger et al.
