I assume you have heard of the possible connection with Christian son of Jacob son of Hans Gorg - a link that has not been proven and is in conflict with reseachers who believe Christian's (grandson of Hans Gorg) daughter Frances was the one in Alverton, Westmoreland, PA who married John Fretz.The two possiblities are spelled out in Martin J Shallenberger's book Shallenbergers of Echo Mountain Vol 1 pg 123 - 124. Let me know if you haven't got all the information from Martin's book.
