I had always been told that my great aunt was Catherine Shollenburg, who married Frederick Elisha Ross in Wisconsin. I found the Ross family in the 1880 census (Chippewa county, Wisconsin), and sure enough, there was also a Sholenberger family in Chippewa county at the same time. The dates are right for Kathirne to be my great aunt. Parents are listed as George J. Sholenberger and Lydia Sholenberger, born in 1828 and 1830 respectively, and both from Pennsylvania. On your Ohio marriage website, I noticed the entry:Shallanbarger, George J. and Grenewalt, Lydia - Jan 11, 1849 in Trumbull Co.Anyone have any additional information on this family, so that I can confirm whether or not this is my great aunt?
