According to "Shallenbergers of Echo Mountain, Vol 2" by Martin J Shallenberger, Jacob (1805-1886) married to Rebecca Flohr was the son of Martin Shellenberger (abt 1781-185?) and Nancy Strickler. Martin was the son of Jacob Lehman and Veronica Nissley.Jacob (says Shallenberger) was born 1 Jan 1805 in Fayette Co, PA, Moved with his father a year later to Unity Twp, Columbiana, OH, Married Rebecca in 1827 in Columbiana Co, OH. Rebecca died in 1865 and Jacob remarried in 1867 to Rhoda Larue Sweihart.Contact me for more details.
