I have two old copies of newspaper clippings (no date/newspaper name no know) about a John Schallenberger formerly of Fayette County, Pa who died in Oregon leaving 40 million dollars. His descendent was David Shallenberger of West Newton, Pa. Names of DeaVer, Wiemer, Van Horn are mentioned plus first names of Schallengers of Judson, David, Smith, Alex. From typeface the articles would date from maybe 1890-1900's Anyone know anything about this?
