This is John son of John and Nancy (Gilmore) Shallenberger. John was the son of Jacob son of Hans Jurg. This lineage can be found on the Hans page. Note in Martin Shallenbergers book "Shallenbergers of Echo Mountain, Vol. 1", 1995; John and Elizabeth are featured on page 381 with census reference and probate records on John who died shortly after the 1850 census.
