There is a Lester Shallenberger listed in the 1850 census in Connellsville in Fayette county, PA. Parents were Jacob and Muriah. Lester is listed as 6 years old in 1850 census.I believe one of his brothers (James) was my gggrandfather. I have yet to be able to make a solid connection.
