According to the information I have, Abraham's father was John Shallenberger ((1720-1793). Abraham had a brother named David, who is in my family tree. I have limited info on my tree back to Heinrich Schellenberg. Heinrich and his brothers Rudolph and Ulrick were amoung 33 Patriots who met on the plains of URI in 1291 to form a confederation which was the beginning of the Swiss Republic.John came from Lancaster Co. Pa. to Bullskin Twp. Fayette Co. Pa. with his two sons Abraham and David in 1790. He bought 426 A. of land from Edward Doyle - deed dated January 29, 1791. This tract of land, known as Fairfeild Farm was divided between his two sons at his death in 1793. John married Barbara Cable (1717-1802). John's brothers and sisters included Jacob (1724-1793), Magdelena, Maria, Catherne, Ulrich, Henry, Ann, Barbara, and Isack.
