I am looking for the parents of John Shellenbarger. John married Eliza Connelly on October 28, 1856 in Miami County, Ohio. John died January 11, 1865 from wounds he received at the battle of Beverly, WV and is buried in Troy, Miami County, Ohio. He was 28 when he enlisted in 1861 which would put his birth abt. 1833. John and Eliza had 3 sons: John H., Thomas Jefferson, and Oscar.
