I'm looking for tie-ins to this line to find out country of origin. Johann M. Shellenberger (Blair, PA) married Margareth Fredeline (b. ~1754) and they had 4 sons, John, John, Philip and Jacob. Philip (b. 1766) married Mary Ann Keller (b. 1776) in Eplars Church, Blair PA. They had 9 children one of whom was Michael (b. 13 mar 1797). He married Sarah (Hoover?) and had 7 children: Baltzer (b. 1835), John (b. 1825), Sarah (b. 1827), Elizabeth, David (1823-1901), Rebecca (1821-1900), and Margaret (1832-1900). Baltzer married ??? and had 5 children: Edward, Sarah (Sallie), John, Joseph and Lizzie. Sarah (Sallie, 1875-1951) married Edward Hoover. They had 6 children Margaret (1907-1923), John (1909-1987), Frederick, Florence, Ann and Dorothy (my grandmother, still living, age 90). Please contact me if you have any information. (acsedit@bellsouth.net) PS I have photos of Shellenbergers from 60-80 years ago (Joe, Ed and (later years) Pauline who was a nurse). Also have a newspaper clipping of a "Joyous Reunion" at the old Shellenberger homestead near Franklin Forge from July 15, 1896. Mention was made of places I can not find on a map: Piney Creek and Franklin Forge. I believe them to be in Blair County, PA near Williamsburg, Royer and Canoe Creek.
