Georg Schellenberger of Weiterswiller, les Saverne, Bas-Rhin, France immigrated from le Havre, Fr in 1846 with his family, wife Elizabeth (nee HEINRICH of Dettweiler), children Georg, Jacob, Margaretha, Caroline and Sophie. Georg also brough his niece Christine Schellenberger 20 with them. The sailed on the ship Austerlitz to New Orleans. Christine md. Johannes ALBRECHT in St. Louis in 1847, and later moved to Jo Daviess County, IL. Georg and family settled in St. Clair County, IL. I would like to find a descendant of Georg & Elizabeth Schellenberger. Son Georg md. Catherine CULLI, Margaretha md. John BAUER, Catherine md. Jacob SCHMIDT and Sophie md. Anton REICHERT.
