Does anyone have SCHELLENBERGER family that settled in Alsace, FR after Thirty Year War? Georg Schellenberger (1802-1870)son of Johann Chrétian & Christine (LOSSEL) SCHELLENBERGER, his wife, Elizabeth (HENINRICH) Schellenberger and 5 children, George Jr., Jacques, Catherine, Marguerite & Sophie, settled in Millstadt Twsp, St. Clair County, IL. Georg's niece, Christine SCHELLENBERGER (1826-1899, came with them to US. They all landed in New Orleans in 1846, migrated up the Mississippi to St. Louis, MO where Christine SCHELLENBERGER married Jean (Johannes) ALBRECHT (1816-1905) in 1847. Johannes and Christine ALBRECHT moved north in 1850 and settled in Derinda Twsp, Jo Daviess County, IL where they raised 11 children. I have lots of information on SCHELLENBERGER family in Alsace.
